Her successful transplant back in October 1987 saved her life and allowed her to enjoy a full and active childhood. Now the young woman from Houghton-Le-Spring in Tyne and Wear is speaking out in support of justvisiting.com. Kaylee said "I think this website is a great idea especially for young people as it can be a lonely time and friends and family can't always travel to visit regularly".

More Exciting Justvisiting News Coming This Week - 27-07-2010
Look out for two new pieces of news from the Justvisiting team coming this week.

justvisiting 10 Downing Street! - 09-11-2009
Justvisiting director and founder, Paul Smith, popped in for tea with the Prime Minister at Downing Street in October at an event to recognise community heroes.
The justvisiting team had been put forward by Gateshead MP Sharon Hodgson to represent her constituency in recognition of how our free justvisiting.com website continues to support hospital visitors and the those caring for their loved ones, as well as freeing up time for nursing staff.
The Prime Minister was hugely impressed with the simplicity and scalability of our service and eagerly donned a justvisiting.com lapel pin and spoke in glowing terms about how a simple idea could provide support to so many people across the UK (and beyond) who may be looking for support as they care for and visit a loved one in hospital.
He said: "Justvisiting.com is a fantastic example of how small ideas can make a big difference. I was delighted to meet Paul at Downing Street and I send my congratulations to the team for the free community service they provide".
Representatives from the Department of Health and The Royal College of Nursing were similarly impressed and keen to get involved.
The word is out...

NHS CE lends support - 09-11-2009
With esteemed patrons including former Chief Medical Officer Professor Sir Kenneth Calman and world-renowned author and media star Bill Bryson already on board, adding a dynamic champion and advisor from the UK healthcare sector was an important next step in building credibility and authority to assist justvisiting's ambitious plans.
Ian Renwick, a highly-regarded NHS Trust Chief Executive and an experienced patron and governor to a number of high-profile healthcare charities, gladly joined our board of patrons and his insight, advice and drive has been invaluable.
We're delighted to welcome Ian to our small justvisiting family and we hope to repay his faith in us by delivering the benefits to patients, visitors and NHS staff members that we've all committed to.
Retail Therapy - 07-11-2009
The justvisiting team hit the shops to showcase our service and to acknowledge the ongoing support of one of our longest-standing partners – the Enterprise Team at Gateshead Council.
Armed with exhibition stands, t-shirts, our new information cards and Bill Bryson bookmarks, justvisiting.com made its mark on Sunday shoppers at The MetroCentre – Europe's largest indoor shopping centre.
Chief cheerleader and justvisiting director Jeff Cummings said: "This was a great afternoon where we could demonstrate the value of our service to shoppers and to acknowledge the wonderful support – financial and advisory – from the Enterprise team at our local authority. From the very beginning, Gateshead Council has helped us to make our idea a reality and to bring the justvisiting.com service to people across the globe."
justvisiting in the house - 07-11-2009
Dave Anderson MP joined the ranks of justvisiting.com champions in 2009 when he held up the justvisiting.com model as an exemplar of social enterprise and health and social care support in an Early Day Motion in the House of Commons.
He later wrote about our service in a newspaper column and has regularly received updates from the justvisiting team so he can keep his constituents and his Westminster colleagues in the loop and online.
Many thanks Dave!
